In a tweet addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, the J&K Students Association expressed its dismay over the reported incidents

The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association has raised serious allegations through a series of tweets, claiming that Kashmiri students in Tamil Nadu are being coerced into shaving their heads before being allowed to enter college premises. The association's tweets have sparked outrage, with calls for intervention from top government officials to uphold the fundamental rights of the affected students.

In a tweet addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, the association expressed its dismay over the reported incidents. The tweet stated, "Outrageous that 2 dozen Kashmiri students enrolled in Tamil Nadu College are being forced to shave their beards before they can be allowed to enter the college. We request PM @narendramodi, Home Minister @AmitShah, CM @mkstalin to intervene & ensure the protection of their fundamental rights."

The alleged incidents reportedly took place at the College of Nursing, Chengalpattu Government Medical College & Hospital in Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu, as per another tweet from the students association. Nasir Khuehami, National Convenor of the J&K Students Association, expressed shock over the situation, highlighting the importance of protecting fundamental rights in an inclusive society.

"It is shocking that around 2 dozen Kashmiri students currently enrolled in a Tamil Nadu college are being forced to shave their beards before they can be allowed to enter the college. It raises serious questions about the protection of fundamental rights in an inclusive society," tweeted Nasir Khuehami.

Demanding immediate intervention from Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Khuehami emphasized the urgency of ensuring the protection of the affected students' fundamental rights.

The allegations of forced head shaving on Kashmiri students have stirred widespread condemnation, with netizens and advocacy groups alike calling for swift action to address the reported injustices. As the issue gains traction on social media platforms, pressure mounts on authorities to investigate the matter thoroughly and uphold the rights and dignity of all students, regardless of their background or ethnicity.
