Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Cell has released the tentative schedule of registration and publication of the Odisha NEET Counselling 2021 state merit list for MBBS/BDS courses.

Odisha NEET Counselling 2021 process began on January 12 at 12:00 noon and interested candidates can register, deposit registration fee and upload the document for online verification by January 18, up to 11:59 pm. Now, Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Cell has announced the tentative schedule of registration and publication of the state merit list for admission to MBBS and BDS courses.

As per the notification, the publication of the Provisional State Merit List of Registered Candidates will be done on January 24, at 5:00 pm. Publication of Final State Merit List of Registered Candidates will be on January 27.

"Detailed schedule for choice filling, allotment of seats etc. will be notified in due course of time," says the notification. 

Meanwhile, OJEE has also released the guidelines for the registration process for the preparation of the state merit list which will be used for subsequent counselling and admission in MBBS/BDS course, 2021-22.

The main points of the procedure of online registration include: 

  1. Candidates must register in due time on the website of OJEE i.e. www.ojee.nic.in. The user name and password must not be shared with others. 
  2. After logging in to the site, the candidate has to fill up the online application form, make an online payment of the registration fee of Rs. 1000/- and upload required documents for online verification. All the documents will be uploaded in pdf format only. The size of pdf files will be mentioned against each document. (The documents to be uploaded must be clearly readable and the file name should not contain any special character).
  3. During document verification, the query may be raised by the Verifying Officers depending on the observations. Therefore, candidates must check their email ID regularly during counselling for any message. The query raised must have complied within 24 hours of raising the query. Otherwise, the document verification will be cancelled and the candidate will not be placed as a registered candidate in the State Merit List.
  4. A candidate may fail to get registration in the case of any irregularity in furnishing required data and their supporting documents as per guidelines.
  5. Only on successful verification of documents, the candidate become eligible and his / her name will appear in the merit list. The names of
  6. candidates whose document verification could not be done due to not uploading a proper document/not complying with the query of the verifying officer in due time will not appear in the merit list and they cannot participate in the subsequent process of counselling and admission.
  7. The registration fee is not refundable.
