During the Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV) convocation ceremony, Union Ayush Minister Sarbananda Sonowal praised the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in taking AYUSH to new heights.

While attending the Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV) convocation ceremony, Union Ayush Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has praised the ongoing efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in developing AYUSH systems.

He said "Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken sincere steps to promote AYUSH since assuming office and take AYUSH to the entire world. It is because of the efforts of the Prime Minister that the whole world celebrates International Yoga Day on 21st June every year."

WHO Global Center for Traditional Medicine in Gujarat

During the 25th convocation organized by RAV Delhi today and 27th National Seminar on Ayurveda Diet - The Basis of Healthy India, he said that WHO Global Center for Traditional Medicine will be established in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

“It is a matter of pride for us that India has been chosen to promote traditional systems of medicine. There is a need to make people aware of this by promoting the various AYUSH diets that exist in our country,” he added.

"Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, the country is moving towards becoming self-reliant. We have to move forward with the spirit of 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat'," he further added.

Ministry of Ayush tweet reads, "While addressing the 25th convocation & 27th National Seminar on Ayurveda Ahar-Swasth Bharat ka Aadhaar, Hon’ble MoS for Ayush Dr. Munjpara Mahendrabhai praised the Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth for their continued dedication to the cause of Ayurveda."
