Punjab NEET 2022: Candidates can apply for MBBS, BDS seats at BFUHS after NEET 2022 results today

The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has recently issued a notification related to admission to MBBS and BDS courses in medical and dental colleges in the state of Punjab for the session 2022 onwards.

The notification said that after the NEET 2022 results are declared, the Punjab NEET 2022 candidates would be able to apply on the specific proforma for all seats at BFUHS except All India Quota seats, for which counselling is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

The BFUHS notification reads, "All admissions of government quota seats/ management quota seats including NRI and any minority quota seats, and any other seats, whatsoever, in the government and private medical/dental institutes, including institutes under private universities and minority institutions shall be based on the merit of National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET)."

The notification added that the schedule of counselling, admission and start of classes shall be in conformity with the schedule laid down by the National Medical Commission/Dental Council of India/ Supreme Court of India/ state government.

Fee and other charges for submission of the application and counselling shall be notified by the BFUHS as per government approval.
