Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has presented the Rajasthan Budget 2022 today and also promised the opening of new nursing colleges in 18 districts.

While presenting the Rajasthan Budget 2022, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has said, "It has been our priority to provide medical and health facilities to every resident of the state to realise our promise of a healthy Rajasthan. " He also promised to establish new nursing colleges in 18 districts of the state.

Rajasthan Budget 2022: More Highlights

INR 100 crore will be given for the expansion of facilities in hospitals. Rajasthan Micro Irrigation Mission will be started at a cost of INR 2000 crores, and it will benefit 4 lakh farmers, said CM Gehlot. 

He also added, unemployed workers will get 100 days of employment every year, after that the government will give an additional 25 days of employment, which will cost about INR 800 crore annually, employment opportunities will also be increased in MNREGA, says the report.

He also said, "Rajasthan has become a leading state in providing universal health coverage by our implementation of Mukhyamantri Free Medicine Scheme, Free Testing Scheme as well as Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana. About 1 crore 33 lakh families have been connected with this scheme."

"It is a matter of happiness that in just 9 months so far more than 7 lakh 41 thousand people have availed the facility of cashless treatment of about INR 930 crores. I announce to increase the sum insured to INR 10 lakh."
