AFCAT 1 2023 Admit Card Out LIVE: Direct Hall Ticket Link, Exam Dates & Pattern

A total of 256 vacancies have been announced for AFCAT 1 exam. Out of the total vacancies, 10 per cent of seats out of CDSE vacancies are reserved for Permanent Commission (PC). 10 per cent of seats out of AFCAT vacancy for Short Service Commission (SSC) are reserved for the NCC Special Entry Flying branch.

The allowances offered to candidates include Flying Allowance offered to Flying Branch Officers, Technical Allowance given to Technical Branch Officers. Candidates are also entitled to allowances such as Test Pilot & Flight Test Engineer, Field Area Allowance, Special Force, Siachen, Special Compensatory (Hill area), Island Special Duty, Area, and Remote Locality Allowance.

The stipend offered to men and women cadets during the entire duration of training at any of the Air Force Training Institutions is INR 56,100 per month. On successful completion of the training, the AFCAT salary of candidates in the pay matrix of Commissioned Officers will be fixed in the first cell of Level 10.

If any candidate does not receive their admit cards, they should immediately contact AFCAT Query Cell at C-DAC, Pune. Candidates should also submit the proof of having registered for the exam.

AFCAT 1 admit card comprises the following details:

The marking scheme of AFCAT is given below:

• For correct answers, candidates score three marks
• One mark is deducted for every incorrect answer
• No marks are allotted to unattempted questions

AFCAT 1 syllabus 2023 is given below.

AFCAT exam paper is divided into four sections-General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test. Total 100 questions are asked in the exam. The total marks allotted for AFCAT are 300. 

• Social Distancing measures will be implemented at all Exam Centres as per Government of India guidelines. Adequate measures are being implemented for safety of all without compromising the high standards, sanctity, and fairness in conduct of the examination.
• Candidates are also to abide by all DO'S and DONT'S of COVID-19 advisories issued by Govt. of India and adhere to all the social distancing norms while being at the Exam Centre.
• To avoid any crowding at the Centre at the time of entry and to maintain social distancing, candidates are to reach Exam Centre as per the Reporting Time given in the Admit Card.

A:The candidates have to follow a certain dress code to appear for the AFCAT 1 2023 exam. The details of the dress code has been given below:

• On exam day, candidates must come in slippers/sandals with flat heels and thin soles. Closed footwear like shoes etc. is not allowed in the exam centres.

Dress Code: The candidates are to adhere to the following:-

• Clothing with large buttons is also not permitted
• Those who wear specific attire for religious purposes will be required to undergo mandatory frisking

A: The details of the things that should be taken to the exam centre on exam day have been given below:

• Admit card
• Aadhaar card
• One more valid Photo Identity Card such as a PAN card/ Passport/ Driving Licence/Voter Identity Card/ College Identity card OR Any other valid photo identity proof with details of Name, Father’s name and Date of Birth
• Two passport size Colour Photographs(Same photo as uploaded during the online application)
• Ballpoint Pen (Blue or Black) for signing on the attendance sheet and rough work
