AFCAT 1 2024 application process will close today (December 30). The application form was released on December 1, 2023. AFCAT 1 2024 exam will be conducted on February 16, 17, and 18, 2024. A total of 317 vacancies have been announced for AFCAT 1 2024 exam.

Indian Air Force (IAF) will close the window to fill AFCAT 1 2024 application form today (December 30, 2023). The application form of AFCAT 1 2024 was released on December 1, 2023 to fill up a total of 317 vacancies. Candidates should hurry up and apply for the exam. Candidates should note that the application fees have been revised this year. To apply for the exam, candidates need to pay INR 550 with GST charges. Earlier, the application fees were INR 250. AFCAT 1 2024 exam will be conducted on February 16, 17, and 18, 2024.

The steps to fill AFCAT 1 2024 application form are given below:

  • Visit the official website of IAF
  • Go to the 'AFCAT exam cycle' from the 'Candidate Login'
  • Register for the exam by entering the required details
  • Select the course preference
  • Enter the source of advertisement
  • Enter communication details, upload documents, sign the declaration, select the exam city, etc.
  • Pay the examination fees
  • Submit the application form

AFCAT Eligibility Criteria

AFCAT eligibility criteria is given below.

Age Limit

Branches Age Limit 

Flying Branch

Candidates should be between 20 and 24 years. The upper age limit for candidates having a Commercial Pilot License is relaxed up to 26 years

Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch

The age of candidates should be between 20 and 26 years

Educational Qualification

To apply for AFCAT exam, candidates must be a graduates. The minimum qualifying mark prescribed for graduation is 60 per cent.
