AFCAT 2025: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the AFCAT 1 short notification. Candidates can check the AFCAT 1 short notification 2025 in the newspapers. The detailed AFCAT 1 notification 2025 will be released on December 2. Along with the notification AFCAT 1 application form 2025 will also be released at the official website: afcat.cdac.in. The last date to apply online for AFCAT 1 is December 31, 2024.

A total of 336 AFCAT vacancies have been released for men and women. The selection of the candidates for AFCAT 1 2025 will be based on a written test, AFSB Test, and Medical Examination. AFCAT is conducted to select candidates for admission to the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches/NCC Special Entry/Meteorology Entry courses.

AFCAT is one of the most sought-after defence exam in the country. The exam is conducted to select eligible candidates as gazetted officers in the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. As it is the important defence exam in the country, therefore, the examination authority prescribes dress for candidates appearing in the exam. The guidelines related to dress code are given below: Candidates need to wear slippers/sandals with flat heels Closed footwear such as shoes is not allowed in the exam centre Clothes with large buttons are not permitted. Candidates wearing attire for religious purpose will be thoroughly frisked Candidates colour photograph will be taken during verification process. Candidates are required to put the thumb impression on the admit card in advance (at home) before proceeding to the examination centre and to sign on the same in front of the invigilators Candidates will be allowed to leave the exam hall after completion of AFCAT/EKT For rough work, A4 size sheet will be kept at each candidate's desk. Additional sheets will be provided to candidates on demand. Candidates are required to write name and particulars on the rough sheets and drop the same in the drop box/handover to the staff before leaving the exam hall.
