How Many Attempts are there in AFCAT exam?
There is no limit to the number of attempts the AFCAT exam. Candidates falling within the prescribed age limit can appear for the exam. As per AFCAT eligibility, applicants must be 20 to 24 years (at the time of commencement of course). The upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxed up to 26 years (at the time of commencement of course).

You cannot change the exam centre after AFCAT admit card has been issued. You cannot take the exam at any other centre other than the one mentioned in AFCAT admit card. Candidates should carefully think before selecting AFCAT admit card in the AFCAT application form. Select only those test cities which are convenient to travel to. Candidates should choose the home city as the first test city. Candidates should not choose the test city that is far off from their home. The allotment of exam city depends on the examination authority. The examination authority tries to allot test city as per their preferences. However, in case of the unavailability of exam centres in the test city chosen by candidates, they are allotted to a different test city. There are cases where examination authority cancels the exam centres in case the number of applicants is less.

AFCAT exam is conducted for two hours whereas EKT is held for 45 minutes. There is no sectional time limit in AFCAT exam. The candidates are allowed to leave the examination hall after the completion of the exam. AFCAT exam is conducted in two shifts. Shift 1 exam is conducted from 9.45 am to 11.45 am whereas Shift 2 is held from 2.15 pm to 4.15 pm.
