AP TET 2024: The School Education Department, Andhra Pradesh has commenced the AP TET exam today. As per the schedule, the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test will be conducted till October 21, 2024. The AP TET exam is being held in two shifts: the first from 9:30 AM to 12 PM and the second from 2:30 to 5 PM. Candidates must reach the exam AP TET center at least 90 minutes before the exam starts.

In case of any doubts, they can get in touch with the help centres that are available at district education offices. Also, those appearing for the exam must carry their AP TET hall tickets along with any one photo ID card. They must not carry any prohibited electronic devices to the centre.

AP TET 2024 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates appearing for the exam must go through the AP TET exam day guidelines that has been mentioned in the official notice:

  • Candidates who have nit downloaded the AP TET hall tickets must download it from cse.ap.gov.in.
  • They are allowed to enter the exam centres one and a half hours before the exam time. They will not be allowed to enter the centre after 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM.
  • A help centre has been set up in the office of the District Education Officer in every district. Candidates can contact them for any assistance.
  • They must carry their identity card (Aadhaar card, driving license, voter identity card etc.) to the AP TET centre.
  • The District Education Officer will provide scribes for candidates with disabilities. Additionally, 50 extra minutes of examination time will be granted, by the rules, to those who have been assigned a scribe.
  • If a candidate has obtained multiple hall tickets, they must appear for the exam at only one examination centre.
  • Any malpractice, such as a candidate appearing in the exam on behalf of another, will result in action being taken under the Andhra Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Malpractices and Unfair Means) Act, 1997 (No. 25 of 1997).
  • Electronic devices like cell phones, tablets, laptops, and calculators should not be carried in the exam centre.
  • If the AP TET hall ticket is without a photograph, has an unclear image, or is too small, the candidate must bring two recent passport-sized photographs and submit them to the departmental officer to obtain permission.
  • Candidates can correct any mistakes in their AP TET hall tickets by showing proofs in the nominal rolls with the departmental officer at the exam centre.
  • Corrections can be made to the details included in the nominal rolls, such as the candidate's name, parents' names, date of birth, social class, gender, ex-servicemen status, candidate's photo and signature, mobile number, Aadhaar number, and more.
