AP TET 2024 notification, which was expected to be out in January 2024, can be released any time soon. The candidates will be able to check the notification on the official website - aptet.apcfss.in.
The Department of School Education, the Government of Andhra Pradesh will release the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) 2024 notification in PDF format.
Once the AP TET 2024 notification is out, the registration process will also commence for the exam. AP TET exam 2024 is expected to be held on February 2024, however, there is no official announcement yet on the exam date. AP TET exam is to evaluate the candidate's ability to teach in the state's primary and upper elementary schools.
Those who will clear APTET Level 1 exam will be able to teach elementary schools (1–5) whereas those who pass APTET Level 2 exam, can teach in upper primary schools (6–8). Candidates who pass both AP TET papers will be able to teach in grades one through eight.
AP TET Exam 2024 Details
The examination is conducted once a year in online mode. The duration of the examination is 150 minutes. The examination fee is INR 500, total number of questions includes 150 MCQs in each paper. A +1 mark is given for each correct answer and no negative marking for wrong answers.
The exam syllabus includes Paper 1: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies, Paper 2: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Science or Social Studies or languages.
