Assam Police Recruitment 2020:131 Steno, JA, Extension Officer and Economic Investigator vacancies announced

Assam Police has released a notification for the recruitment in multiple posts, online application for the posts will begin on August 17, and candidates can apply till September 6.

Assam Police, in its recent notification (SLPRB/ REC/EJS/2020/129), is inviting application for the post of Junior Assistant, Stenographer, Extension Officer and Economic Investigator. Application link will be activated from August 17, eligible and interested candidates can apply n or before September 6.

• Extension Officer (Industries) Its Equivalent posts - 87
• Economic Investigator (E.I) - 24
• Junior Assistant (HQ) - 16
• Stenographer - 4

Candidates who are within the prescribed age groups and with relevant qualifications need to apply on the official website of Assam police, slprbassam.in. While applying, candidates need to submit their first preference, second preference, third preference and fourth preference of the post they are willing to appear for.

The selection of the candidates will be carried out in two phases, the first phase will be a written test comprising 100 marks. 100 questions will be there and will be completely OMR based. Each question will carry one mark. There will be negative marking of ½ mark for each wrong answer. The second phase is a computer-based test.  In the second phase, candidates five times of the vacancy will be called based on their rank in the first phase.
