CDS 1 Notification 2025: The Union Public Service Commission will shortly be releasing the UPSC CDS I Exam 2025 notification today December 11, 2024. Candidates who want to apply for the Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2025 can check the notifications at upsc.gov.in. The CDS 1 registration will also begin today and end on December 31, 2024. As per the schedule, the CDS I 2025 exam will be held on April 13.

Candidates applying for the IMA and OTA must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. For the INA, they must possess an engineering degree from a recognised university. Similarly, those applying for the AFA must hold an engineering degree from a recognised university and must have studied physics and mathematics at the 10+2 level.

How to apply online for CDS 1 2025?

To apply for the CDS exam, candidates need to follow these steps:

  • Register on the OTR (One Time Registration) page.
  • Fill in all the required details on the registration page.
  • Upload the necessary documents, if required.
  • A login ID will be generated by UPSC and sent to the candidate's registered mobile number and email ID.
  • Navigate to the "Latest Exam" tab and click on the CDS 1 exam link.
  • Complete the application form by providing the required details.

To be selected in the IMA, INA, AFA, or OTA, candidates must successfully clear multiple stages of the CDS selection process. The CDS 1 2025 selection process comprises the following levels:
