CDS 2 Exam 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting the CDS 2 exam on September 1, 2024 (Sunday). The admit card of CDS 2 has already been released. Candidates appearing for the exam must download CDS 2 admit card 2024 or else they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. The CDS admit card also includes important guidelines that have to be followed in the exam hall.

Those who have downloaded it must go through CDS 2 exam day guidelines. CDS exam for English paper will be held from 9 to 11 am, and GK and Elementary Mathematics will be conducted from 12 to 2 pm and 3 to 5 pm respectively.

CDS 2 Important Guidelines Mentioned on Admit Card

Those appearing for the exam can go through the CDS exam day guidelines 2024 to know what to carry, what not to bring, during the exam and other related information:

  • Candidates must carry their CDS 2 admit cards along with the original photo ID card. They must keep their CDS hall ticket till the release of the final results
  • Candidates whose photographs on the CDS e-admit card are unclear must bring a photo identity proof such as an Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Passport, or Voter Card, along with three passport-size photographs (one for each session) and an undertaking, to be allowed to appear for the exam
  • They must enter the CDS 2 exam hall at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam
  • Entry to the CDS exam hall closes 10 minutes before the exam starts for each session
  • They need to carry one black ball point pen to the exam centre

Yes. The UPSC released the CDS 2 admit card on August 23, 2024. The CDS 2 exam was scheduled for September 1, 2024. UPSC announced a total combined vacancy of 459 (for IMA, INA, AFA & OTA). The candidates downloaded their admit card through the candidates' login on the official website-upsc.gov.in.

a) Go to the official website

 b) Click on the UPSC CDS admit card link

c) Login into the registered account

d) Click on the submit button

e) The CDS admit card will appear on the screen

f) Download the CDS admit card and save it for later use

The CDS admit card comprises details like name of the examination, conducting authority, candidate's name, father's name, mother's name, exam date, shift timing, date of birth, and more. The candidates are advised to check every details in the admit card carefully before downloading it. If the candidates find any discrepancy in the admit card, report the discrepancy to the UPSC as soon as possible.

No, the CDS (Combined Defence Services) admit card is not sent by post. The admit card is available for download on the official website of the Union Public Service Commission UPSC which is the conducting authority for the CDS exam. Candidates who have successfully registered for the CDS exam can download their admit card by logging in to their account on the UPSC website using their registration ID and password. The admit card contains important details such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam date, time, and venue.
