COVID-19: MPSC State Service, Subordinate Exam 2020 postponed again
Amid the ongoing nationwide coronavirus lockdown, the MPSC examinations which were rescheduled to be held on April 26 and May 10, have been postponed again
Due to the coronavirus lockdown, Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has postponed the two major exams of the state, MPSC State Service Exam 2020 and MPSC Subordinate Service Exam 2020 again. The MPSC preliminary and subordinate service exams were scheduled to be held on April 26 and May 10 respectively. However, it has been postponed indefinitely.
The Commission has released a notification regarding the same. The fresh dates for MPSC exams will be soon released on the Board's official website.
Once the dates are released. the candidates will receive an SMS by the Board notifying the same.
Earlier, the MPSC State Service Prelims Exam was scheduled on April 5 while MPSC Subordinate Exam was supposed to be conducted on May 3.

MPSC Recruitment 2020: Eligibility Criteria
Interested candidates must have a graduate degree from a recognized university. Knowledge of Marathi is a must.
MPSC recruitment application process commenced on February 28 and concluded on March 19. The commission invited the applications for the recruitment of State Service Posts including Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Assistant Commissioner/ Project officer, Assistant State Tax Commissioner, Maharashtra Education Department, Deputy Education Officer, Class Officer, Deputy Superintendent, Land Record, Deputy Superintendent, State Excise Fee, Naib Tehsildar and Other Posts.
Recruitment applications for MPSC Subordinate Service were invited on April 28 onwards. The last date for online application was March 19. The commission published the notification to fill 806 vacancies such as Assistant Section Officer (ASO) Group-B, Police Sub Inspector (PSI) Group B and State Tax Inspector (STI) Group-B under Subordinate Service Exam 2020
Candidates who will successfully clear the prelims exam will be qualified to appear for MPSC State Service Mains Exam 2020 and MPSC Subordinate Service Mains Exam 2020.
