CSIR NET 2024 Chemical Science Exam Today from 9 AM; Know What Not To Carry

CSIR NET 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the last exam of CSIR UGC NET Chemical Science today: July 27, 2024, to evaluate the eligibility of the candidate for the JRF and LS (Lectureship). As per the timings released, the CSIR NET 2024 for Chemical Science will be held in a single shift in online CBT (Computer-based test) mode. The single shift of CSIR UGC NET 2024 will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon.
Candidates appearing for the exam must reach the CSIR NET centre at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam. They must carry all the specified documents like the CSIR UGC NET admit card and any one valid photo ID card for verification. Also, they are advised nit to carry any electronic device to the CSIR NET exam centre.
What Not To Carry At CSIR NET 2024 Exam Centre
Candidates can check below the list of items that they must not carry to the exam centre:
- Mobile Phone
- Smart Watches
- Calculator
- Any jacket
- Bag
- Any paper or pencil
- Any eatables
Candidates must carry their CSIR NET admit card, one passport-size photograph (as provided in the application form), any one of the authorised government photo ID card (school identity card, PAN card, driving licence, voter ID, passport, aadhar card, ration card) and PwD certificate, if applicable. They must follow the rules and regulations or instructions of the NTA and the exam invigilator.

The CSIR NET 2024 exam dates for the December session are February 28 to March 2, 2025. However, the June session was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for 5 subjects from July 25 to July 27, 2024. The National Testing Agency NTA has been entrusted by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) to conduct the Joint CSIR UGC NET exam to determine the eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS) in Indian universities and colleges. There will be five papers: Mathematical Science, Life Science, Chemical Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science. Normally, NTA CSIR UGC NET is conducted twice a year in June and December. The CSIR NET exam is held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
