CSIR NET 2024 Life Science Exam Today; Know Shift Timings & Checklist for Exam
CSIR UGC NET 2024 exam for Life Science will be held in two shifts today. Candidates must carry their CSIR UGC NET admit card and follow exam day guidelines.
CSIR NET 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the CSIR UGC NET 2024 Life Science exam today: July 26. As per the schedule release, the CSIR NET 2024 will be held in two shifts in online CBT (Computer-based test) mode. The first shift will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon. Whereas, the CSIR NET 2024 second shift will be conducted from 3 to 6 pm.
The duration for the CSIR UGC NET Life Science paper is 180 minutes (3 hours). Candidates must reach the CSIR NET exam centre 2024 on the date and time mentioned on their admit card. They must read the instructions given on the CSIR UGC NET admit card before appearing for the exam.

Checklist for CSIR NET 2024
- Candidates must carry a printed copy of CSIR NET admit card, one passport-size photograph (same as that on the application form), any one of the photo ID card (PAN card, driving licence, voter ID, passport, aadhar card) and PwD certificate, if applicable
- They must not carry any bag/purse or any material from the list of prohibited items inside the CSIR NET exam hall
- They will not be allowed to leave their seat or exam hall without the permission of the invigilator or before the exam gets over
- If any candidate is found in unfair practices will be booked under unfair means case can be debarred for 3 years

The CSIR NET 2024 exam dates for the December session are February 28 to March 2, 2025. However, the June session was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for 5 subjects from July 25 to July 27, 2024. The National Testing Agency NTA has been entrusted by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) to conduct the Joint CSIR UGC NET exam to determine the eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS) in Indian universities and colleges. There will be five papers: Mathematical Science, Life Science, Chemical Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science. Normally, NTA CSIR UGC NET is conducted twice a year in June and December. The CSIR NET exam is held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
