According to the official update, CSIR NET Life Science exam will be conducted by NTA on June 25, 2024, in both shifts. Candidates will be able to download their CSIR UGC NET Admit Card three days before the exam date.

The CSIR NET Question Paper 2024 will be divided into three sections- Part A, B and C.

Part 'A' shall be common to all subjects. This part shall be a test containing a maximum of 20 questions of General Aptitude. The candidates shall be required to answer any 15 questions for two marks each. The total marks allocated to this section shall be 30 out of 200.

The CSIR NET Part A consists of General Aptitude questions that assess the candidates’ teaching/research aptitude, reasoning ability, comprehension skills, divergent thinking and general awareness.

The CSIR NET Part B and C consist of questions that are based on the subjects chosen by candidates from the following five subjects - Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences.

The Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2024 session is scheduled to be conducted by the NTA on June 25, 26 & 27, 2024. According to the official update, the CSIR NET Life Science exam is to be conducted by NTA on June 25, 2024. The written exam for Chemical Science, Physical Science & Earth Science will be conducted on June 26, 2024, and the CSIR NET Mathematical Science exam will be conducted on June 27, 2024.

Candidates need to follow the given CSIR NET Exam Day Guidelines at the exam centres:

• Candidates should reach the CSIR NET Exam Centre at the time indicated against reporting time in their CSIR UGC NET admit card 2024
• No candidate will be allowed to enter after the gate closing time
• No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of the examination
• Upon completion of the examination, candidates are advised to wait for instructions from Invigilator. The candidates will be allowed to move out only one at a time
• The CSIR NET admit card is provisional, subject to satisfying the CSIR NET Eligibility Criteria 2024 as given in the Information Bulletin
• Candidates are advised to verify the location of the exam centre, a day in advance so that they do not face any problems on the day of the exam
• If religion/ customs require you to wear specific attire, then please visit the exam centre a little early for thorough checking and frisking
• No candidate would be allowed to enter the centre without admit card, self-declaration undertaking, valid ID proof, and proper frisking
• Before reaching the centre, candidates must enter the required details in the Self Declaration (Undertaking) in legible handwriting, paste their photograph and put a thumb impression at the appropriate place on the admit card
• PwBD candidates (with a disability of 40% and more) will be allowed an extra time of 20 minutes per hour of the examination
• PwBD candidates must bring a PwBD certificate issued by the Competent Authority if claiming relaxation under the PwBD category. The Scribe provided by the NTA must also carry his/ her own Self Declaration (Undertaking) regarding educational qualification, passport-size photograph, valid government identity, and self-declaration (Undertaking)
• Candidates are not allowed to carry any personal belongings, electronic devices, or mobile phones to the examination centres
• Shoes/footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons are not allowed
