CSIR NET Dec 2022 & Jun 2023 Sessions To Be Merged, Check Exam Dates Here

According to the official tweet from the Human Resource Development Group (HRDG), a division of CSIR, the CSIR NET December 2022 session will be merged with June 2023 session. CSIR has announced that CSIR NET December 2022 session which was scheduled to be conducted in December 2022 will be combined with CSIR NET June 2023 session. That means CSIR will conduct CSIR NET exam 2023 for December 2022 and June 2023 sessions jointly in June 2023. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) to conduct the Joint CSIR UGC NET exam to determine the eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS) in Indian universities and colleges.

There will be five papers – Mathematical Science, Life Science, Chemical Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science. Normally, NTA CSIR UGC NET is conducted twice a year in June and December. The CSIR NET exam is held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. CSIR NET Application Form 2023

1. At first, the candidates are required to get themselves registered online
2. Login with the credentials used during the registration process
3. Fill out the application form available with the application number & password shared on your email id and phone number

5. After submitting the form, pay the application fee through the online payment gateways available

CSIR NET Eligibility 2023

The basic CSIR NET eligibility criteria 2023 that candidates must fulfil are mentioned below:

CSIR NET Educational Qualification 2023

• Candidates should have obtained a degree in BTech/BE/BPharma/MBBS/BS (four years)/Integrated BS-MS/MSc with a minimum of 55 per cent marks for General (UR)/General-EWS and OBC (50 per cent for SC/ST, Third gender and PwD). 

CSIR NET Age Limit 2023

• To apply for CSIR NET JRF, candidates should be a maximum of 28 years of age. The upper age limit is relaxable for up to 5 years for SC/ST/Third gender/PwD/Females and up to 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) 
• There is no upper age limit to apply for the post of Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor
