CTET 2024 Exam: 12 Arrested by Bihar Police for Candidate Impersonation

CTET 2024 Exam: Recently, the Bihar Police have arrested 12 people, including two women, for allegedly taking the July session of CTET 2024 on behalf of other candidates at various exam centres in Darbhanga district. The police reported that the impersonation was detected through biometric fingerprint scans conducted at the CTET 2024 exam centres.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on July 7. The exam was held in two shifts: paper 1 from 9:30 am to 12 pm and paper 2 from 2 to 4:30 pm. The CTET is a national-level exam conducted annually for candidates aspiring to secure teaching positions in the government sector.

CTET 2024: Police Interrogation Ongoing
The police acted on complaints from invigilators and administrators, registering cases against the impostors. Interrogations are ongoing, and authorities are also gathering information about the genuine candidates. As per reports, Darbhanga SSP stated, “Nine arrests were made from different centres under Laheriasarai police station’s jurisdiction, while two were apprehended from a centre under Sadar police station, and one person was arrested from a centre under Bahadurpur police station.”
CTET Exam Analysis 2024
As per the student's review, the CTET paper 1 was easy to moderate. There were a total of 150 questions based on Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (English), Language II (Hindi), Mathematics and Environmental Studies. The overall paper 2 of CTET 2024 July session was also easy to moderate.
