How IBPS Clerk Prelims Result 2023 was Prepared?

The result of IBPS Clerk prelims exam was prepared based on the following process:

  • The number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the corrected score after applying the penalty for the wrong answer.
  • The corrected scores obtained by candidates are made equivalent to adjust the differences in the difficulty level since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts to arrive at the equated scores
  • Scores obtained by candidates in any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms
  • Final scores in each test are rounded off to up to two digits after the decimal point
  • 1/4 of marks are deducted for wrong answers
