Following are the documents to be carried along with the admit card:

• Valid IBPS PO call letter for respective date and sessions of exam
• Photo-identity proof in original that clearly mentions the name of candidates as entered in the application form

Along with the IBPS PO admit card, candidates need to bring the photo-identity proof such as PAN Card/Passport/Driving License/Voter’s Card/Bank Passbook with photograph/Photo Identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer (on official letterhead)/Photo Identity proof issued by a People’s Representative (on official letterhead)/Identity Card issued by a recognised

A reserve list to the extent of approximately 10 percent of the vacancies under each category may be kept, subject to the availability of candidates. This does not guarantee provisional allotment to/recruitment by the participating banks. In the event of Participating Banks providing further vacancies during April 2024-March 2025 at different intervals, provisional allotment may be carried out three to four times for the candidates in the reserve list, based on the vacancies provided by some or any of the participating banks at different intervals during the period. However, if no vacancy is furnished by the Participating Banks owing to exigencies or otherwise during the validity period, the candidates under the reserve list will not be considered for provisional allotment. The reserve list will expire automatically on March 31, 2025. Candidates who are not provisionally allotted or not in the reserve list will not be considered for further process.

The examination authority releases IBPS PO qualifying marks in the form of cut off marks. The cut off marks are applied on overall score and section-wise marks. The IBPS PO (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Probationary Officer) exam has two stages: the preliminary exam and the main exam. The syllabus for both exams is different. IBPS PO preparation needs a systematic and holistic approach. Since the syllabus is vast, candidates need to choose the right IBPS PO books to understand the concepts of each topic. Candidates must go through the previous year's exam analysis to understand the difficulty level of the paper and the topics that were asked in the exam. It is also important to solve the previous years' question papers/sample papers to know the topics from where the maximum number of questions is asked in the exam. Candidates must attempt as many mock tests as they can to improve speed, and accuracy and analyse their performance. 

In the IBPS PO exam, biometric date (Right thumb impression) will be captured twice at the examination venue i.e. before the start of exam and after completion of exam. The guidelines related to biometric verification are given below:

• If fingers are coated (stamped ink/mehndi/coloured.etc..), ensure to thoroughly wash them so that coating is completely removed before the exam day
• If fingers are dirty or dusty, ensure to wash them and dry them before the finger print (biometric) is captured
• Ensure fingers of both hands are dry. If fingers are moist, wipe each finger to dry them
• If the primary finger (Right thumb) to be captured is injured/damaged, immediately notify the concerned authority in the test centre

Travelling Allowance is not given to candidates in order to reach the IBPS PO exam centre. Candidates should go to the exam centre at their own expense. Candidates should bring ball-point pen, blue ink stamp pad and glue to the exam centre. Sheets of paper are provided which can be used for rough work or taking down the question number you would like to review at the end of the test before submitting your answers. After the test is over candidates must submit these sheets of paper by putting them in the designated drop box before leaving the venue. Candidates must write their registration number and roll no. on the rough sheets. 

Some of the important points related to IBPS PO exam city are given below:

• IBPS reserves the right to cancel or add any of IBPS PO exam centres depending upon the feasibility
• The examination authority also reserves the right to allot candidates to any other IBPS PO centre other than the one opted by them
• The details regarding the exam centre are mentioned on the IBPS PO admit card
• Candidates must choose IBPS PO exam centres close in their proximity
• The exam centres once allotted are not changed by the examination authority

Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box,  Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band etc. Other items like Goggles, Handbags, Hair-pin, Hair-band, Belt, Cap, Any watch/Wrist Watch, Camera, metallic item, eatable item opened or packed, water bottle (only transparent water bottle is allowed), Any other item which could be used for unfair means for hiding communication devices like camera, bluetooth devices etc. After AarogyaSetu status display at the entry gate, candidates will be required to switch off their mobile phones, and deposit it at the designated location, to be collected while exiting. Any candidate who is found either copying or receiving or giving assistance will be disqualified. Candidates should avoid wearing ornaments like Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin, Chain/Necklace, Pendants, Badge, brooch etc.

The exam day guidelines related to IBPS PO admit card are given below:

• Candidates need to report atleast 15 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the IBPS PO admit card
• Wearing masks is compulsory
• The examination authority scan the barcode given in the admit card 
• Candidates are allowed to wear gloves, carry a transparent water bottle, hand sanitiser (50 ml), pen, exam related documents (admit card, ID card, photocopy ID card, etc) 
• Registration of candidates is done through photo capture
• Rough sheets are kept at the candidate's desk. No additional sheets are provided during the exam
• Candidates are required to drop the rough sheets in the boxes provided at the exit while leaving the lab
• Stationery items such as bits of paper, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner are not allowed
• Goggles, handbags, hair-pin, hair-band, belt, cap, any watch/wristwatch, camera, any metallic item are not allowed
• Any eatable item opened or packed is not allowed
• Ornaments such as the ring, earrings, nose-pin, chain/necklace, pendants, badge, brooch, etc. are thoroughly checked

Some of the important points related to IBPS PO admit card are given below:

• Candidates need to affix their recent passport size colour photograph (same as uploaded in the online IBPS PO application form). They need to sign across the photograph  
• No hard copy of IBPS PO admit card is sent to candidates by post
• Candidates must retain the admit card till completion of the recruitment process
• The signature of candidates should tally with the signature uploaded at the time of registration. In case of any discrepancy, candidates are not allowed to appear in the exam

Along with the IBPS PO admit card, candidates need to bring the photo-identity proof such as PAN Card/Passport/Driving License/Voter’s Card/Bank Passbook with photograph/Photo Identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer (on official letterhead)/Photo Identity proof issued by a People’s Representative (on official letterhead)/Identity Card issued by a recognised
College/University/Aadhar/E-Aadhar Card with a photograph/Employee ID in original as well as a photocopy. Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License are not accepted as valid ID proof. In case of candidates who have changed their names are allowed only if they produce original Gazette notification/their original marriage certificate/affidavit in original. Candidates are allowed to carry ballpoint pen inside the exam hall.

In such case, candidates should not panic rather they should try downloading the admit card within certain interval of time. It is better to download the admit card at night. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post.
