LIC ADO exam is likely to be delayed this year keeping in view the nationwide lockdown in place and the ongoing heal emergency due to COVID 19 pandemic. LIC ADO notification was to release in May as per expectation, the probability of which is very less. It might get delayed for a couple of months or until the situation is favorable for the conduction of a free and fair exam.
LIC ADO is being conducted to recruit Apprentice Development Officer (ADO). An LIC ADO will be responsible for selecting individuals as Life Insurance Agents and supervising their overall performance. This is an exam for specialized categories, candidates with relevant experience are only eligible to apply. Read LIC ADO eligibility in detail.
The applications are invited separately from Open Market Category, Employee Category and Agents Category candidates. They need to meet the eligibility criteria as mentioned in LIC ADO notification.
LIC ADO exam process includes prelims, mains and personal interview. The first two stages are computer-based exams. LIC ADO prelims is only for the candidates from open market category. Mains and interview are common for all categories. The prelims is qualifying in nature as it doesn’t play any role in the final selection.
