NCERT has started the application process for National Talent Search Examination or NTSE 2021. Students studying in Class 10 can read here how to apply for the scholarship exam. NTSE 2021 Stage 1 will be held on December 12 & 13, 2020.
National Council of Educational & Research Training (NCERT) has released the notification for the NTS examination 2021. SCERT of all states and UTs have released the NTSE 2021 application form. While many states/UTs will release the form online on the official website of SCERT, others will distribute the form of NTSE 2021 offline. Interested students of Class 10 can collect the NTSE application form 2021 from the State liaison officer or from their school. They must go through the NTSE Eligibility Criteria 2021 before applying. The NTS Stage 1 examination 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on December 12 and December 13, 2020.

The last date for the submission of the completely filled NTSE 2021 application form will vary from state to state. Students need to fill the application form of NTSE 2021 and submit it to their school before the last date. The NTSE application form 2021 will also contain the admit card leaflet which is to be filled by the students. The NTSE 2021 application form will be check for any incorrect information and then will be sent for attestation by the school principal. The NTSE admit card 2021 will be handed over to the students at least 15 days before the date of the exam.
About NTSE
NTSE is a scholarship exam for students of Class 10 to identify and nurture talent. The exam is conducted at two levels – Stage 1 at the state level and Stage 2 at the national level. About 2000 scholarships are awarded for different stages of education as follows:
- 1250 per month for Class 11-12
- 2000 per month for UG and PG level
- As per UGC norms for research level
NTSE 2021 Reservation Criteria
NCERT will award the NTSE scholarships 2021 on the basis of certain reservation criteria which is provided below. Candidates will be required to mention their category and attach a copy of the certificate (in case of reserved category only) in the NTSE application form 2021. The result and merit lists will also be prepared on the following reservation criteria:
