RBI Assistant 2023 notification delayed by RBI. Earlier, it was scheduled to be released on September 11. The notification is expected to be released soon. RBI Assistant apply online will be activated after the notification is released.

RBI Assistant 2023 notification delayed

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has delayed the release of RBI Assistant notification. Earlier as per the official website, the notification was scheduled to be released on September 11. However, it was not released by the examination authority. RBI Assistant notification will be released on the official website in PDF form. The notification comprises important details related to the exam such as exam dates, application process, eligibility, exam pattern and many more. RBI Assistant apply online will be activated after the notification is released. RBI Assistant application fee is INR 450 for OBC/General/EWS categories and INR 50 for SC/ST/PWD/EXS.

RBI Assistant Eligibility 2023

RBI Assistant eligibility in terms of age limit and educational qualification is given below.

  • The age of candidates should be between 20 and 28 years. Candidates must have born between February 2, 1994, and February 1, 2002 (both days including) and are only eligible to apply
  • Relaxation in the upper age limit of five years will be provided to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) candidates, three years to OBC, 10 years to PWD, 10 years to widows/divorced women/ women judicially separated who are not re-married, five years to candidates domiciled in the state of Jammu and Kashmir during the period January 1, 1980, to December 31, 1989, etc.
  • Candidates must have completed graduation from any discipline with a minimum of 50 per cent (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates)

RBI Assistant Selection Process

The selection process includes preliminary and Mains exams followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The prelims exam is divided into three sections English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The total duration of the preliminary exam is 60 minutes. The Mains exam carries questions from Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of Numerical Ability, Test of General Awareness and Test of Computer Knowledge. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. The marks of the Mains exam are taken into consideration for the final merit list. Candidates qualifying the Mains exam are called for LPT. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. The prelims exam serves as a screening test for the mains exam.
