RBI Grade B shift 2 exam will be conducted from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm. The reporting time for Shift 2 is 11.30 am.

The overall difficulty level of RBI Grade B Phase 1 exam held in Shift 1 was moderate. The English Language section was easy, Quant and Reasoning sections were moderate. The General Awareness section was moderate.

The shift 1 of RBI Grade B Phase 1 exam got over. The reporting time for second shift is 11.30 am.

The Phase 2 exam for the General post will be conducted on July 30, 2023. The Phase 2 exam will be conducted for candidates who qualify the Phase 1 exam.

The selection process of RBI Grade B comprises-prelims, Mains and interview. The prelims exam is qualifying in nature. The final selection is done based on the marks secured in the Mains exam and interview. Selected candidates are appointed to the post of Grade B Officers in various branches of RBI.

The marking scheme of RBI Grade B is given below:

• For correct answer, candidates score one marks
• There are also negative marking for wrong answers. 0.25 marks are deducted for wrong answers

A total of 200 questions will be asked in Phase I of RBI Grade B. The Phase 1 of RBI Grade B exam carries questions from General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning. 

The entry for Shift 1 exam started at 8 pm. The examination authority is verifying the admit card of candidates as well as their photo-identity proofs.

There are sectional timings in Phase 1 of RBI Grade B exam. The prelims exam is conducted for 120 minutes. Candidates need to attempt the different sections of the prelims exam as per the allotted time frame. Paper 1 and 3 of the Mains exam are held for 120 minutes. The Paper 2 of the Mains exam is conducted for 90 minutes. The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 200. The total marks allotted to the Mains exam are 300. The total marks allotted to interview are 75 marks. In Phase-I, 25 minutes each are allotted to General Awareness, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude while 45 minutes are allotted to Reasoning.

• On the home page, select the 'Recruitment Related Advertisement link
• The career page opens in a new tab
• Click on the link ‘Admission Letter for Direct Recruitment for the Post of Grade B’
• On the login page, candidates need to enter the required credentials
• RBI Grade B hall ticket is displayed on the screen
• Download the admit card and take its printout

RBI Grade B Phase 1 exam will be conducted in the following cities:

The gross salary of RBI Grade B is INR 1,08, 404 (Approximately). The basic RBI Grade B salary is INR 55,200 per month. The pay scale is INR 55,200-2850(9)-80,850-EB-2850 (2)-86,550-3300(4)-99,750 (16 years). Besides, candidates are eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Family Allowance, and Grade Allowance.

RBI Grade B exam will be conducted online. The process to attempt the online test is given below:

• The question paper will be in English and Hindi
• All questions will have multiple choices. Out of the five options, candidates need to select one correct answer
• Click on the question number on the question palette to go a particular question directly
• Click on ‘Save & Next’ to save answer
• Click on ‘Mark for Review and Next’ to save answer to the current question. If an answer is selected for a question that is ‘Marked for Review’, the answer will be considered in the final evaluation.
• To deselect a chosen answer, click on the chosen option again or click on the ‘Clear Response’ button
• To change an answer to a question, first select the question and then click on the new answer option followed by a click on the ‘Save & Next’ button
• Questions that are saved or marked for review after answering will only be considered for evaluation
• Candidates will not be allowed to ‘Finally Submit’ unless they have exhausted the actual test time
• Candidates are not allowed to use the ‘Keyboard’

The COVID-19 related guidelines for RBI Grade B exam are given below:

• Candidates are required to report at the exam centre as per the time slot mentioned on the admit card
• Candidates must report atleast 15 minutes before the reporting time mentioned in the admit card
• The roll number and lab number will not be displayed outside the exam venue, the same will be informed to candidates individually at the entry gate
• Wearing a mask is compulsory
• Candidates must carry a personal transparent water bottle
• Candidates can carry hand sanitiser of 50 ml
• Candidates should maintain safe social distance with one another
• Candidates need to install Aarogya Setu app on their mobile phones. Those who does not have a smart phone must bring a signed declaration as per the format given on the admit card.
• Candidate registration will be done through photo capture
• Photograph will be taken while the candidate is standing
• Seat number will be given to the candidate
• Rough sheets will be kept at each candidate desk
• Candidates need to submit the admit card, photo-ID proof and rough sheets at the designated boxes kept outside the exam hall

Candidates should bring the admit card to the RBI Grade B exam centre along with their recent passport-size photograph duly pasted on it. Candidates must also bring a ball-point pen for RBI Grade B exam.

RBI Grade B admit card 2023 has been released by RBI. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter the required credentials. The hard copy of the admit card has not been sent to candidates by post. The admit card carries important information related to the exam.
