RRB ALP & Technician Exam Dates 2024 Announced; Check CBT 1 Schedule Here

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released a short notification for RRB ALP 2024 recruitment. The detailed notification was released on January 20, 2024. A total of 5696 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment process. The exam is conducted for candidates in the age group of 18 to 30 years and who have completed Class 10/SSLC. The recruitment is done for the post of Assistant Loco Pilots and Technicians. This year, the age limit for ALP post has been revised. Earlier, the age limit for ALP was 18 to 28 years. The revised age limit is 18 to 30 years.

The CBT 1 exam was conducted from November 25 to 29, 2024 for ALP posts. The exam for Technician posts will be conducted on December 19, 20, 23, 24, 26, 28, 29 and 30, 2024. The CBT 1 exam of RRB ALP comprises questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence, and Reasoning, General Science and General awareness on current affairs. The test carries a total of 75 marks. The CBT 2 is divided into two parts-Part A and Part B. Part A of the second stage CBT comprises 100 objective-type questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering and General Awareness on Current Affairs. In Part B, Total 75 questions are asked in the exam. This part is qualifying in nature and comprises questions from the trade syllabus prescribed by the Director General of Employment & Training (DGET).

RRB ALP city intimation slip has been released on November 15, 2024. Usually, the city intimation slip is released 10 days before the exam. To download the city intimation slip, candidates need to enter the required credentials. The city intimation slip comprises the details related to the exam city.
