RRB NTPC 2024 application form has been released for graduate posts. The last date to apply for the exam is Oct 13. The revised limit for RRB NTPC exam is 18 to 36 years. The second stage CBT has been made common for all the posts.

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) released RRB NTPC application form. The application form has been released for graduate posts- Chief Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor, Station Master, Goods Train Manager, Junior Account Assistant Cum Typist, and Senior Clerk Cum Typist. The last date to fill the application form is October 13, 2024. The fee payment after the closure of the application form can be done from October 14 to 15, 2024. The correction window will be available from October 16 to 25, 2024. RRBs have made verification of Aadhaar Card mandatory while applying for RRB NTPC 2024 exam.

A total of 8113 vacancies were announced for the graduate posts. The application fee for all candidates except the fee concession categories is INR 500 whereas it is INR 250 for PwBD/Female/Transgender/Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class.

  • Enter the details to register for the exam
  • Registration ID and password are generated
  • Fill up the RRB NTPC 2024 application form
  • Click on the submit button.

  • Take the printout of RRB NTPC application form 2024

Revised RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria 2024

RRB NTPC eligibility criteria has been revised by RRBs. The age limit has been revised. Candidates applying for the undergraduate posts should be between 18 to 36 years. The age limit of candidates will be calculated as on January 1, 2025. The educational qualification prescribed for the exam is graduation.

Revised RRB NTPC Exam Pattern 2024

RRB NTPC exam pattern 2024 has been revised by RRBs. The revision in exam pattern has been done for 2nd stage CBT. The second stage CBT has been made common for all the posts. Earlier, the second stage CBT was conducted separately for different posts. The revised exam pattern is given below.

Q: Β  What are the qualifications to write RRB NTPC exam?

A:
RRB NTPC exam is conducted to select eligible candidates for various non-technical level posts in Indian Railways. The educational qualification is prescribed by RRBs for undergraduate and graduate posts. The educational qualification for undergraduate posts is that candidates must have Class 12 from any recognised board. The educational qualification prescribed for graduate posts is that candidates must have passed graduation from a recognised university. Candidates must adhere to the educational qualification prescribed for the exam or else their candidature will be cancelled.

Q: Β  Is there minimum qualifying marks in RRB NTPC exam?

A:

Yes, there is a minimum qualifying cut off in RRB NTPC exam. The minimum qualifying marks for CBT 1 and 2 for General, EWS categories is 40 per cent, for OBC and SC is 30 per cent and for ST category is 25 per cent. In CBAT, candidates are required to secure a minimum T-score of 42 marks. Besides, cut off marks, candidates are also required to secure the qualifying marks as per their categories. Candidates need to secure the qualifying marks in CBTs and CBAT inorder to qualify the exam. The CBT 1 comprises questions from General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The total marks allotted to the CBT 1 are 100. The CBT 2 comprises questions from General Questions Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. Total marks allotted to the test are 120.

Whereas, candidates applying for undergraduate posts should have passed Class 12.
