SSC-CGL 2019 makes addition to permissible nature of physical disabilities

SSC holds SSC CGL every year to hire candidates for a number of posts in several ministries and departments of the Government of India and in its supplementary offices.

As per the Corrigendum dated November 22, 2019, the Staff Selection Commission has made some addition to the combined graduate level examination (CGL) - 2019 for the post of assistant section officer (AFHQ). Going by the notice – F.No.3-4/2019-P&P-1 (Vol.1) of Staff Selection Commission, new criteria have been added for the candidates with different nature of physical disabilities. The new criteria permit candidates with disabilities such as acid attack victims, muscular dystrophy, specific learning disability, B, LV, deaf, HH, OA, OL, OAL, BL, cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, multiple disabilities from amongst above apart from deaf-blindness.
