The candidates who appeared in the questions shared the questions of the General Awareness Questions: 

The candidates who appeared in the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam shared that the Computer questions were easy in orientation. The Commission asked easy questions in the Computer section of the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam (shift 1).

Most of the candidates who appeared in the exam shared that the Maths sections were tougher than expected. The overall difficulty level of the SSC CGL Main exam shift 1 was moderate to difficult.

The SSC CGL Main Exam is delayed at various exam centres. As per the delayed timing, the candidates will come out from the examination centre at 11.45 AM

The Staff Selection Commission is conducting the SSC CGL Main Exam 2023 today and tomorrow. The SSC CGL Tier 2 first shift will be over at 11:15 AM. The candidates will come out of the examination centre by 11.30 AM.

The candidates should note that as per the SSC CGL Tier 2 shift timing, the SSC CGL Main exam started at 9.00 At the designated exam centres.

The candidates should note that the Ration card and Affidavit in support of date of birth is considered at the SSC CGL exam centres.

The candidates should note that the reporting time for the SSC CGL Main Exam Shift 1 is 7.45 AM. Though the exam will start at 9.00 AM but the candidates are suggested to reach the examination centre as per the time mentioned on the admit card.

The candidates can produce Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, and Matriculation Marksheet/Certification as proof of their date of Birth. The candidates will be required to show the original copy at the time of entry.

The candidates should carry one photo identity proof and one proof for their date of birth along with the admit card. The candidates will be required to show these documents at the time of entry.

Number Systems: Computation of Whole Number, Decimal and Fractions, Relationship between numbers.

Fundamental arithmetical operations: Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest (Simple and Compound), Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Alligation, Time and distance, Time and work.

Algebra: Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra and Elementary surds (simple problems) and Graphs of Linear Equations.

Geometry: Familiarity with elementary geometric figures and facts: Triangle and its various kinds of centres, Congruence and similarity of triangles, Circle and its chords, tangents, angles subtended by chords of a circle, common tangents to two or more circles.

Mensuration: Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons, Circle, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square Base.

Trigonometry: Trigonometry, Trigonometric ratios, Complementary angles, Height and distances (simple problems only) Standard Identities like sin2???? + cos2????=1 etc.

Statistics and Probability: Use of Tables and Graphs: Histogram, Frequency polygon, Bar-diagram, Pie-chart; Measures of central tendency: mean, median, mode, standard deviation; calculation of simple probabilities.

The candidates should note that the SSC CGL 2023 exam has less vacancies. The Commission notified 7,500 vacancies for the SSC CGL exam 2023 in the SSC CGL Post Vacancy list.

The Candidates should note that the SSC CGL Tier 2(Main) cutoff is expected to remain high because of the less number of vacancies in the SSC CGL exam 2023.

The Staff Selection Commission will conduct the SSC CGL Tier 2 Paper 3 and 4 on October 27 at designated exam centres. The Commission will conduct the SSC CGL Tier 2 paper 1 and 2 on October 26 only.
