SSC CHSL 2022 Notification Postponed

SSC CHSL notification 2022 has been postponed by the Commission. The Staff Selection Commission(SSC) released a notice regarding the same in November 3. The Commission did not mention any reason behind the same. Now the Commission will release the SSC CHSL notification 2022 on December 6.

There were speculations about the delay in notification because the SSC GD 2022 notification was released without any prior notice by the Commission. It was expected that notification will be delayed by a week or two.

SSC CHSL notification was scheduled to be released on November 5 because the Commission has notified the exam notification date in the earlier released SSC exam Calendar.

SSC CHSL notification 2022 Expected Changes

The SSC is changing the exam pattern of the major exams to expedite the recruitment process. In the process of doing so, the Commission outsources the Document Verification (DV) process to the concerned department. In the SSC CGL exam, the number of tiers in the exam were reduced from 4 to 2.

The same is expected in the SSC CHSL exam. The Commission can add the Data Entry Speed Test(DEST)/Typing test into the first tier itself to expedite the process.

SSC CHSL Exam Date 2022-23

Commission postponed the exam notification consequently, the SSC CHSL exam dates will also delay. The new expected SSC CHSL exam dates 2022-23 will be March –April 2023.

Syllabus of SSC CHSL 2022

The Commission can change the SSC CHSL syllabus by adding the DEST/Typing test in the Tier 2. The candidates should start practicing for the DEST and Typing test. It is a probability that the papers of three tiers are merged to make it two tier exam.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern

There is a high chance that the Commission will change the exam pattern and outsource the DV stage to the concerned department. By doing this, the Commission can expedite the recruitment process.
