SSC CHSL 2022 Result: Tie-Breaking Resolving Principle

In case, there is a tie in the scores of two or more candidates (in tier-I+tier-II) at the time of creating SSC CHSL merit list, it is resolved by following the below criteria:

  • The candidate scoring more marks in the tier-II exam is ranked higher
  • If the tie is still not resolved, the candidate higher in age is ranked higher
  • If the tie is still not resolved, the candidates are ranked in alphabetical order
