SSC CPO marking scheme has been revised by SSC. There will be a negative marking equal to one-third of the marks allotted to the question for each wrong answer in Paper 1 and 2. The Paper 1 exam will be conducted from October 3 to 6, 2023. Read here for more details.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) revised the negative marking criteria for SSC CPO 2023 exam. According to the official notice released by SSC, there will be negative marking equal to one-third of the marks allotted to the question for each wrong answer in Paper 1 and 2. Earlier, the negative marks for each wrong answer in Paper 1 and 2 were 0.25 marks.

SSC CPO consists of Paper 1, Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). It is important to qualify all the stages of selection process.

The Paper 1 exam will be conducted from October 3 to 6, 2023. The Tier 2 exam of SSC CPO will be conducted on December 22, 2023.

SSC CPO application status will be released soon. To check the application status, candidates need to enter the required credentials. The application status displays whether the candidate’s application is accepted or rejected.

SSC CPO Exam Pattern 2023

The Paper 1 exam comprises four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. The total marks allotted to the Paper 1 exam are 200. The Paper 2 carries objective-type questions from English Language and Comprehension. There are 200 questions in the paper. The duration of the test is two hours.
