SSC CPO, JHT, Steno Exam Dates 2024 Announced

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) announced SSC CPO, JHT and Stenographer exam dates 2024. SSC JHT 2024 notification will be released on July 23, 2024. The application form will be made available from July 23 to August 21, 2024. The exam will be conducted in October-November 2024. SSC CPO 2024 notification will be released on February 15, 2023. The last date to apply for the exam is March 14, 2024. The exam will be conducted in May-Jun, 2024. SSC Stenographer 2024 notification will be released on July 16, 2024. The last date to fill the application form is August 14, 2024. The exam will be conducted in October-November 2024.

SSC Stenographer exam every year for recruitment of Stenographer Grade C (Group B Non-Gazetted) and Grade D (Group C) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organisations. SSC CPO exam is a national-level test conducted by SSC to select eligible candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Staff Selection Commission conducts an open competitive examination for recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator, Senior Hindi Translator for various Ministries/Departments/Organizations in the Government of India.

SSC Selection Process for CPO, Stenographer & JHT

The selection process of SSC JHT comprises Paper 1 and 2 followed by document verification. Based on the marks scored in Paper 1, candidates will be shortlisted category-wise to appear in Paper 2. On the basis of Paper 1 and 2, candidates will be shortlisted for document verification. Final selection and allocation of Ministries/ Departments will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in Paper 1 and 2 and the preferences of posts.

In SSC CPO exam, all candidates who register for the exam are required to appear in Paper-I. On the basis of their performance in Paper-I, candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in PET/ PST exam. PET/ PST is mandatory but qualifying in nature. Only those candidates who qualify PET/ PST will be allowed to appear in Paper-II exam. On the basis of their performance in Paper I and II, candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in Medical Examination. Candidates, who are successful in Medical Examination, will be called for detailed Document Verification. Final selection and allocation of Post/Force will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in Paper I and II and the preference of posts given by them at the time of Document Verification.

The selection process comprises a computer-based test and skill test. Based on the marks of the computer-based exam, candidates are selected to appear for the skill test. The skill test is mandatory but qualifying in nature. SSC will fix category-wise qualifying marks for skill tests for each post. Candidates who will qualify the skill test will be considered for the final selection on the basis of their merit. Candidates are considered for final allocation based on their marks in the Computer-Based Test and preferences of posts provided by them at the time of document verification.
