In this selection process, candidates will be shortlisted in a ratio of 1:10, which means for every vacancy, ten candidates will be shortlisted. These shortlisted candidates will then be required to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).
After the PET/PST, the candidates' performance in Session II of the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) will be considered. The scores of the candidates will be normalized, which means the scores will be adjusted in order to account for any variations in the difficulty level of different test sessions.
The merit list for the post of Havaldar will be based on the candidates' normalized scores in Session-II of the CBE. The Commission may also set cut-off marks for different Central Commission Areas (CCAs) and categories in Session II of the CBE.
In summary, the selection process for the Havaldar post includes shortlisting candidates, conducting PET/PST, evaluating performance in Session-II of the CBE, and determining merit based on normalized scores. Cut-offs may be set based on CCAs and categories in Session-II of the CBE.
