TNPSC Group 2 recruitment notification dates were released in the commission’s exam calendar, released on February 17. Online it was released on February 18. TNPSC Group 2 recruitment notification will be released in February 2022. But as per the media reports, the notification will be released on February 23. The TNPSC Group 2 applications will start as per the dates mentioned in the official notification.

TNPSC Group 2 recruitment notification will be released for 5,529 vacancies. Out of which group -2 vacancies will be 116 and the Group 2A vacancies will be 5413. The service-wise break up will be provided in the official notification.

Candidates will get one month to apply for the exam. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) will conduct the Combined Civil Service–II prelims exam in May 2022. The calendar also released the result dates for the preliminary exam. TNPSC Group 2 main exam will be conducted in September 2022. The result of the same will be released in December 2022. The oral test/counselling will be conducted in February 2023.

The exact dates were not mentioned in the official calendar, only months were mentioned. Earlier, the commission had issued a new syllabus incorporating the changes directed by the state government. Now the Tamil Language Eligibility Test will be added to the exam.
