TS TET 2024: The Department of School Education, Telangana has already closed the TS TET application window, with 2,75,773 candidates applying. TS TET 2024 Paper 1 saw 94,335 applications, while Paper 2 received 1,81,438. The TET exam is scheduled to be conducted from January 1 to 20, 2025, in a computer-based format. As per media reports, the number of applicants has been gradually declining. Telangana TET received 3.40 lakh applications in 2016, 3.29 lakh in 2017, 3.79 lakh in 2022, and 2.83 lakh in 2023. The TET conducted in May 2024 saw 2,86,386 applications, slightly more than the current round’s 2,75,773.
TS TET 2024 Exam
The TS TET/ Telangana TET/ TG TET exam will be held online from January 1 to 20, 2025. The exam is held to determine the eligibility of teachers for classes 1 to 8 teacher posts at state government, mandal parishad, zila parishad, private aided and private unaided schools in Telangana.
TS TET To Be Held Twice in Year
The government previously announced its decision to conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) twice a year, irrespective of the DSC notification, aiming for exams in June and December or January annually. Following this decision, the second TET notification for the year has been issued. With the TET administration requiring 90 days, notifications are released well in advance to streamline the process. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) oversees the biannual conduct of TET.

- Fill in the details like mobile number, name, date of birth, etc.
- Keep the transaction ID that will be received after completion of the application fee payment
- A provisional registration number and password will be sent to the registered email ID of the candidate.
- On successful registration, log in using the registration number and password
- Fill in the application form giving out the personal details, contact details, and educational qualifications
- Select the option for Paper-I or Paper-II or both
- Upload the scanned copies of the photograph, signature, and required documents
- Submit the application form.
