UGC NET 2024 City Intimation Slip Out For August 27 Exam; Check Steps To Download

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the UGC NET notification for the June cycle 2024 on April 20, 2024. The NTA NET notification was released  as a PDF that comprises the details of the UGC NET June cycle like application dates, syllabus, eligibility, and more. The UGC NET notification for the December 2024 cycle was released along with the application form on November 19, 2024. The UGC NET December 2024 notification released in the form of PDF that comprises the details of the application dates, appllication fee and more. The UGC NET notification is accessible on the official webiste. The candidates can download the official notification by following the steps given below:

The candidates preparing for the UGC NET exam are advised to regulary visit the Shiksha for the latest updates and notification related to the UGC NET exam.

The UGC NET exam is conducted in two shifts morning and evening. The NTA (National Testing Agency) will conduct the December session exam in more than 200 centres across India in several districts. The exam shift timing of the UGC NET 2024 exam is as follows: a) First Shift - 9.00 am to 12.00 pm b) Second Shift: 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm The candidates are advised to report to the exam centre 30 minutes before the GATE closing time to avoid any mishap at the exam centre. At the exa centre the candidates can bring a transparent water bottle, and ballpoint pen along with two photographs and photo identity proof.

The candidates who are going to appear for the UGC NET 2024 exam must check the exam day guidelines:

• Candidates must reach the test centre as per the reporting time mentioned on the admit card;
• Candidates should read the instructions on the admit card carefully and follow them during the exam.
• No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall without the admit card and photo ID proof.
• Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre after 9.00 am in the first shift and after 2.30 pm in the second shift.
• Candidates should report at the exam room at the centres by 9.15 am in the first shift and by 2.45 pm in the second shift.
• Candidates must not leave the UGC NET exam hall before the paper ends.
• On completion of the paper, candidates must wait for the instructions from the invigilator and must not right away get up from their seat to leave the exam hall.
• Candidates wearing special attire such as burqa, hijab, turban, etc. must reach the exam centre early for thorough checking.
• Candidates should sit on the seat indicating their roll numbers only. The candidature will stand cancelled if candidates change their room or seat on their own.
• Candidates must ensure that the UGC NET question paper 2023 available on the computer is as per their opted subject. In case otherwise, candidates must bring the same to the notice of the invigilator.
• Calculations and rough work are to be done only in the rough sheet provided at the centres.
• No candidate should involve in any unfair practices during the exam.

There is no recommended dress code by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and Univeristy Grants Commission (UGC) in order to appear for the UGC NET. However, the candidates takig the exam are advised to do the following thing before appearing for the exam:

• Attire: Candidates should not wear shoes or footwear with thick soles. Also, candidates must not wear clothes with large buttons to the test centre.  
• Personal belongings: Candidates should not carry any personal belongings such as mobile phones, purses or electronic devices such as calculators inside the test centre. Exam authority will not be responsible for the safe keep of the personal belongings of candidates.
