The NTA cancelled the UGC NET 2024 June Shift 2 exam held at Dr. Ghanshyam Singh College of Education, Varanasi, on August 21, 2024. Due to technical glitches, the examination process could not be conducted in CBT mode. The date, time, and venue of the exam will be notified by NTA through a separate public notice in this regard. 

The UGC NET admit card specifies that candidates wearing attire specific to any religion or customs must arrive at the Centre early for thorough checking and mandatory frisking. Footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons are strictly prohibited.

Also, candidates are advised to dress comfortably by the examination centre's dress code. To expedite the security check process, they should avoid wearing jewellery, embroidered clothing, or outfits with pockets.
