UGC NET Application 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the application form for the June cycle on May 15, 2024 (Wednesday). However, the candidates will be allowed to pay the application fee for the NTA NET exam till May 17, 2024. Earlier, the UGC NET application deadline was extended due to the requests of the aspirants on social media. The UGC NET exam is scheduled for June 18, 2024. 

The UGC NET June cycle will be conducted for 83 subjects in offline mode i.e. pen paper-based (OMR), other than this there is no change in the exam pattern. How to Apply for the UGC NET 2024 Exam?

The candidates willing to appear for the UGC NET June 2024 session can do it by following the steps given below:

• Visit the website- ugcnet.nta.ac.in

• Click on the ‘Application form’ link mentioned at the bottom of the home page

• Click on the ‘New Registration’

• Enter the required details and complete the registration

• Fill out the complete application form

• Upload scanned pictures of passport size photo (10-200 kb) and signature (4-30 kb). Both images should be in JPEG format

• Pay the NTA UGC NET application fee (Gen - INR 1,150; OBC/EWS - INR 600; SC/ST/PwD/ Transgender - INR 325)

• Save and submit the form

• Download the confirmation page
