UPPSC PCS 2023 mains exam begins today; Check exam day guidelines here
Candidates appearing for the UPPSC CSE exam must note that no candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without their UPPSC PCS exam admit card 2023. Carrying one ID proof along with the hall ticket is also mandatory. Candidates who have not downloaded the UPPSC PCS exam admit card can get it from the official website, uppsc.up.nic.in.
UPPSC CSE exam 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has commenced the conduct of the UPPSC Provincial Civil Service Exam (UPPSC PCS) Mains 2023 exam from today. The UPSC CSE Mains exam dates 2023 are September 26, 27, 28 and 29. The UPPSC PCS exam 2023 will be held in two sessions - forenoon session will begin from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM and afternoon session from 2 PM to 5 PM.

Candidates appearing for UPPSC PCS Mains 2023 are advised to go through the exam day guidelines listed below.
- No student will be allowed to appear for UPPSC PCS Mains 2023 without the hall ticket. Candidates will have to carry the printout of e-Admit card 2023 along with the original photo identity card to be permitted inside the examination hall.
- Candidates should not bring any valuables or costly items in the test centre.
- Candidates are advised to reach the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time in each session. No one will be allowed to enter the 10 minutes after the commencement of the exam.
- Possession, even in switch-off mode, or use of mobile phones and other electronics and communication devices are banned at the examination premises.
UP PCS mains exam is descriptive in nature having eight papers of 1500 marks in total. Questions in the UPPSC PCS mains exam are asked from subjects like general Hindi, essay and general studies. There is no negative in the UP PCS mains exam as it is descriptive in nature.
