UPPSC Prelims Result 2022 Live Updates; Get Download Link for PCS Result PDF online

UPPSC main exam 2022 will be conducted from September 27. The Commission will conduct the exam in offline mode. The exam differs from the IAS main exam. There is a compulsory Hindi paper in the main exam. 

UPPSC Prelims 2022 result is prepared in a group-wise manner. The candidates are divided as per the eligibility of the post. UPPSC 2022 applications ask for the preference of posts with the eligibility of the candidates for different posts. The result of the candidates is prepared based on the eligibility of the candidates filled in the application form.

UPPSC Prelims exam has two objective type papers conducted offline at the designated exam centres in 19 districts of the state. Both the papers of UPPSC Prelims exam is listed below:

The UPPSC Prelims exam merit is based on the marks secured in the General Studies Paper 1 only. The General Studies Paper-II (CSAT Paper) is qualifying only. The candidates need to score 33 per cent marks in the CSAT paper to qualify the paper. The candidates need to score 66 marks in CSAT paper where the maximum marks is 200.

UPPSC Prelims 2022 exam was conducted in 19 districts only. There are 75 districts in the state but the exam was conducted in 19 districts only. The candidates were to travel to the exam centre on their own.

UPPSC Prelims syllabus is mentioned in the official notification. The UPPSC syllabus is synonymous with the IAS syllabus. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) prelims syllabus can be identical with the IAS syllabus.

UPPSC prelims 2022 result pdf will mention the roll numbers of the candidates only. The name of the candidates will not be released (as done by the UPSC). The UPPCS result 2022 will be divided into groups and the candidates need to check their results in all the groups.

UPPSC PCS prelims 2022 is a qualifying exam only. It implies that the marks secured in the prelims exam will not be considered for the final merit list. Moreover, the UPPCS Prelims General Studies Paper-II (CSAT Paper) is also qualifying as the candidates need to score 33 per cent marks in the paper.

UPPSC Main exam will be conducted from September 27 to October 2 which is just after the IAS main 2022 exam. The Commission designed the UPPSC exam 2022 in such a manner that the candidates appearing in the IAS exam will not get enough time to prepare the Uttar Pradesh-specific information. The candidates who clear the prelims exam will be eligible to appear in the main exam.

If the Commission removes questions from the UPPCS prelims 2022 question paper, it will have a deep impact on the result because there is a negative marking in the paper. The candidates having those questions incorrect will have an undue advantage because if the questions were not deleted, they will be counted as incorrect and the marks were deducted from the aggregate. This deduction would have changed the face of result for all the candidates. 

As per the candidates who appeared in the UPPSC Prelims 2022 exam and also who sent the objections to the Commission, there are over ten questions where whether the answer was incorrect or more than one option is correct. As per the rumours, around 11 questions will be removed in the final answer key and the result was prepared after removing the questions.

UPPSC Prelims 2022 final answer key will not be released with the result to avoid any litigations on the result. The Commission will release the UPPSC prelims 2022 answer key (final) after the completion of exam process.

UPPSC Prelims 2022 Cutoff will not be released with the result because the Commission releases the official cutoff for the UPPCS prelims and main exam after the declaration of final result and completion of exam process. It is the standard practice maintained by the Commission to avid the litigations.

UPPSC Prelims 2022 admit card was released on June 1. Along with the admit card, UPPCS also released the instructions to follow on the day of examination. The canddiates were allowed to carry the following government identity proof with them to the examination centre

• Aadhaar Card
• PAN Card
• Driving License
• Identity Card issued by Government department
• Voter ID Card (EPIC Card)

UPPSC Prelims 2022 admit card was released online only. UPPCS Prelims admit card 2022 was released on June 1 online. The candidates were advised to take two copies of the official admit card to the exam centre. Along with the PCS admit card 2022, the candidates were required to carry one government identity proof with them to the exam centre to establish their identity when asked for.

UPPSC Prelims exam was conducted on June 12. The Commission conducted the exam for 250 vacancies. The number of vacancies is set to increase because in recent years it has always happened and this year will also be not an exception.
