UPPSC RO/ARO Prelims Exam 2016 Cancelled: See details here
UPPSC has cancelled the RO/ARO Prelims exam 2016. The Commission will conduct the exam on May 3, 2020. Read below the details.
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has cancelled the UPPSC Review Officer/Assistant Review Officer Prelims exam 2016 due to the court decision on question paper leak case. The Commission issued a public notification related to the cancellation of the exam on January 15, 2020. Since the preliminary exam is the first step of the whole RO/ARO exam selection process, it implies that the exam will be conducted again.

One person, Amitabh Thakur, lodged the FIR related to the UPPSC RO/ARO Prelims 2016 question paper leak in Lucknow on the day of the exam( November 27, 2016) and CBI conducted the enquiry. But later the court rejected the enquiry report and ordered to conduct the enquiry again in court's supervision.
The Commission will conduct the UPPSC RO/ARO Prelims exam 2016 again and the candidates who have applied for the exam earlier need not apply again. The candidates now need to look for updates from the commission regarding the new exam dates of the UPSPC RO/ARO Prelims exam 2016. The commission has released the new Exam time table recently and amid various exams, the new exam date of the RO/ARO exam is May 3, 2020.
The UPPSC RO/ARO exam has three-stage selection process and the prelims are the first step of it. The other two steps are as follows.

The RO/ARO Prelims exam comprises two objective type multiple choice question papers. The first paper is General Studies and the second paper is General Hindi. The RO/ARO prelims exam will be conducted at various centres across the state and around 4 lakh candidates will appear in the prelims exam.
