UPPSC UPPCS 2023 : Optional Subject Removed from Main Exam, Check Details

For the UPPSC Mains 2023 exam, though the optional subjects have been removed, the number of subjects will still remain the same. The Commission further announced that the division of marks for each subject will be announced later.
UPPSC PCS 2023: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has removed the optional subjects from the UPPSC PCS Mains Exams 2023. As per the UPPSC Calendar 2023, the prelims exam of UPPSC PCS 2023 will be held on May 14, 2023. The UPPSC PCS Mains Exams 2023 is scheduled to be held on September 23, 2023.
The Commission is expected to release the UPPSC PCS 2023 notification anytime soon. With the notification, the UPPSC PCS online link will also be activated. All the candidates who are interested can apply for the exam by paying the required fees. The selection process includes prelims, mains and interviews. For the UPPSC Mains 2023 exam, though the optional subjects have been removed, the number of subjects will still remain the same. The Commission further announced that the division of marks for each subject will be announced later.

UPPSC 2023 exam will be conducted offline across 21 cities in Uttar Pradesh wherein 4 lakh candidates are expected to appear.
