CDS exam pattern 2023 is divided into a written exam and SSB Interview. The written exam for IMA, INA, and AFA comprises three sections: English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics. The test paper for admission to OTA comprises two sections: English and General Knowledge. Each section is held for two hours. The candidates who are going to appear for the CDS exam for Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), and AFA (Air Force Academy) must know the exam pattern. The UPSC CDS exam pattern has been given below for the candidates:
- The CDS exam for INA, IMA, and AFA is taken for three subjects - English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Maths
- The exam duration for each paper is 2 hours (120 minutes)
- Each subject will have 100 MCQs
- The maximum mark in each subject is 100 marks

How to Download the CDS 1 Admit Card 2023?
The steps to download the admit card of CDS are given below:
- Step 1: Visit the official website-upsc.gov.in
- Step 2: Go to the 'What's New Section and Click on the 'E-Admit Card CDS Exam 2023' link
- Step 3: A new page will open with the download link
- Step 4: Read all the instructions carefully before downloading the admit card
- Step 5: After reading the instruction, click on the 'Yes' button to proceed towards downloading the admit card
- Step 6: Enter the following details on the login page:
- Registration Number and date of birth, Or
- Roll Number and Date of Birth, Or
- Name, Father’s Name, and Date of Birth
- Step 7: After filling in the details, click on the ‘Submit’ tab
- Step 8: CDS 2022 admit card appears on the screen
