UPSC IAS 2020 Interview schedule released. UPSC interview will begin on April 26. See here details

The UPSC 2020 interviews will be conducted from April 26. The candidates can download the IAS interview schedule. The IAS interviews will be conducted till June 18. A total of 2046 candidates are called for the UPSC interviews 2020. The probability of selection in the UPSC Civil Service Exam is very high for the candidates selected for the interviews because out of three candidates, one will be selected in the Civil Service Exam. The e-admit cards for the UPSC interviews will be released soon.

The IAS 2021 Prelims exam will be conducted on June 27. The candidate appearing for the UPSC interview will have to prepare for the IAS prelims exam simultaneously.

UPSC, like last year, this year also the examination authority will reimburse the lowest ‘to’ and ‘fro’ airfare for travelling through Air India or any private airline. The reimbursement will be provided for the cheapest economy class flight ticket booked after the downloading of the e-admit card.

• The Air ticket booking must be done either directly from the airline’s website/counter or through an agent authorised by the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance. The official
• UPSC notice also provides the name of the travel airline's agents.
• The Air ravelling tickets booked through the private air ticket booking websites will not be reimbursed.
• The shortest route will be considered from the nearest airport, determined by the competent authority. The nearest airport will be decided based on the address given in the Detailed Application Form.
• The candidate needs to bring the hard copy of the air tickets showing the journey details. A boarding pass will also be required for the onward journey only.
• In case the candidate travel by train, a Second/Sleeper class fare will be reimbursed.

In case of any deviation from the aforesaid conditions, the reimbursement will not be provided to the candidate.

The UPSC interviews will be conducted at the UPSC Office, Dholpur House, New Delhi. No request for the change in the date and time of the Personality Test (Interview) intimated to the candidates will ordinarily be entertained. UPSC only can decide about the extraordinary conditions for rescheduling the interview dates.
