UPSC ESE 2023: The Union Public Service Commission has released a new notification related to the Engineering Services Exams 2023. ESE also referred to as the IES (Indian Engineering Services), is a national-level exam in which engineering graduates can appear. Earlier, the ESE 2023 recruitment drive was conducted to select 327 candidates, however, as per the new notification, it has now been increased to 337. UPSC has now increased a total of 10 vacancies. 

As per the official notification, “With reference to the Notice no. 01/2023, published on the Commission’s website on 14.09.2022 inviting application from the aspirants for the Engineering Services Exam-2023, it is informed that the Government has decided to recruit 10 personnel in Indian Skill Development Service (ISDS), Group ‘A’ through the Engineering Services Exam-2023.”

“The tentative no. of vacancies i.e. 327 as indicated in the Notice dated 14.09.2022 now stands modified to 327+10=337. Eligibility conditions etc. for recruitment to the ISDS, Group ‘A’ through ESE-2023 will be the same as indicated in the Notice of ESE-2023 published on 14.09.2022,” the notification further added.

IES 2023 exam (prelims) will be conducted offline on February 19. IES prelims admit card 2023 will be released three weeks before the IES prelims exam date.
