UPSC will release the IAS 2019 marks after September 7. Read below for details.

The UPSC has issued a one-line notice mentioning that the marks of the candidates appeared in the Civil Services (IAS) exam 2019 will be released after September 7, 2020. The UPSC has issued a one-line notice on its website and did not issue any full-fledged notice.

UPSC can release the marks of the candidates selected in the IAS exam 2019 soon. Around thirteen thousand aspirants appeared in the IAS main exam 2019 and around twenty-six hundred qualified for the IAS interview. The candidates' marks in the IAS main exam means the marks got in the written and the interview both. For the candidates who did not qualify for the IAS interview, their marks will also be released in the form of an individual mark sheet.

The IAS exam 2019 result was announced on August 4, 2020 where Pradeep Singh from Haryana secured all India rank 1. Pratibha Singh from Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh has secured all India third rank and also she was the topper among the female category.

The marks of the IAS prelims 2019 will also be released for the candidates. This is useful information for the candidates because UPSC has released the official answer key and the IAS cut off 2019 and hence the candidates can arrive at their score and compare them with the official one.

The IAS exam 2019 was delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic across the nation. The IAS interviews 2019 were postponed in February and were conducted in July because of this pandemic. This worldwide pandemic also affected the IAS 2020 exam and the prelims exam was postponed. Now the IAS prelims 2020 will be conducted on October 4, with all the precautions.
