UPTET 2021 Exam on January 23; CM Yogi directs authorities to ensure systematic conduct amid COVID protocols

UPTET 2021 exam will be held on January 23, 2022. UP CM Yogi Adityanath directs the concerned authorities to ensure smooth conduct of the exam and follow the COVID protocols.

Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority is going to conduct the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2021 exam on January 23, 2022. Just a few days prior to the exam, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed the exam authorities to ensure that the concrete preparations are made for systematic conduct of the exam, putting an end to all the uncertainties regarding the postponement of the exam amid COVID-19.

CM Yogi asked the authorities to follow the COVID protocols while the conduct of the UPTET exam and ensure the availability of masks, sanitisers and infrared thermometers at every exam centre.

The UPTET examination was earlier scheduled to be held on November 28, 2021. However, the exam was cancelled due to a paper leak.

Things to be carried to UPTET exam centres

The UPTET 2021 exam will be held offline as a pen and paper-based test wherein candidates will be required to mark the answers on the OMR sheet. Candidates need to carry the following things and documents to the UPTET exam centres:

• UPTET admit card
• Photo ID proof such as PAN Card/ Driving License/ Voter ID Card/ Passport/ Aadhar Card/ Ration Card
• Two ball-point pens

Note: Candidates should not carry any electronic item such as a calculator, digital watch or mobile phone and any stationery item inside the examination hall.
