UPTET Exam Notification Expected Soon; Exam Likely in Aug or Sept

The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) will soon release the notification for UPTET 2023 exam. The notification and the UPTET online application form will be released after the formation of the UPBEB. The Board is expected to be formed by the end of June 2023. According to some media houses, the UPTET exam will be taken in the month of August or September 2023. UPTET Eligibility Criteria 2023

The candidates who are willing to appear for the UPTET 2023 exam must check the eligibility criteria. However, there is no age limit for the candidates to take the UPTET exam. The details of the UPTET educational level eligibility criteria have been given below:

UPTET Paper 1 Educational Qualification (Primary Teacher)

Candidates need to fulfil any one of the eligibility conditions mentioned below in terms of educational qualification in order to appear for the UPTET Paper 1:

• Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
• Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd)
• Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education)
• Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
• Graduation with B.Ed. (final year appearing or passed)

UPTET Paper 2 Educational Qualification (Upper Primary Teacher)

Candidates need to fulfil any one of the eligibility criteria given below in terms of educational qualification in order to appear for the UPTET Paper 2:

• Graduation with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education
• Graduation with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in one-year BEd
• Graduation with at least 45 per cent marks and a one-year BEd
• Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks with a four-year BElEd
• Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks with a four-year BA/ BScEd/ BAEd/ BScEd
